About me
Aaron Skretting is the Director of Religious Education for the Holy Spirit Catholic School Division, a role he assumed in the 2021/2022 school year. He holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Education from the University of Lethbridge, as well as a Master's in Education in School Administration from Gonzaga University. With over two decades of experience in education, he has served in various capacities across rural and urban schools in southern Alberta. Prior to his current position, he was the associate principal at Catholic Central High School, where he demonstrated a strong commitment to faith-based leadership, curriculum development, and reconciliation efforts. Aaron is passionate about promoting reconciliation, decolonization, and indigenization within Catholic education. He focuses on fostering faith development among students and staff while strengthening relationships with parishes and families. His leadership is characterized by his dedication to creating vibrant and inclusive Catholic learning environments.
