Dr. Sinda Vanderpool is the president and vice-chancellor of St. Mary's University in Calgary, a role she assumed in July 2022. With a strong background in academic administration, she previously held leadership positions at Baylor University in Texas, where she contributed to significant enrollment growth and enhanced student diversity. Dr. Vanderpool is passionate about advancing St. Mary's mission, which integrates liberal arts education with Catholic intellectual traditions and a commitment to justice and community engagement.
