About me
Paula Huddy-Zubkowski is an Educational Technology Consultant in Mohkinstis on traditional Blackfoot Territory. She has taught elementary, Indigenous Studies 30, and the last five years she has been a consultant in her District developing lessons, videos, STEAM programming, and makerspaces. Recently Paula has graduated from Educational Technology at UBC where she has helped lead sessions to graduate studies students about design thinking. Paula has traveled to the Southern Ocean as a Grosvenor Teacher Fellow through National Geographic and Lindblad Expeditions to develop STEAM lessons around geographic literacy and teaching in the outdoors. Her passion for connecting with nature, through indigenous perspectives, motivates her to teach teachers and students to be global citizens who understand how design thinking can be used to help others be agents of change.
