Welcome to uLead 2025. We are thrilled you will be joining us at the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel for our annual school leadership conference hosted by the Council for School Leadership of The Alberta Teachers’ Association.

If you have any questions during the event, we will have uLead team members throughout the venue wearing red and black plaid. The registration desk will also have our team available throughout the conference. This table can be found just outside of the Van Horne Ballroom where all of our keynote presentations are taking place.

About me

Dr Konsctancija deGoeij is an accomplished professional known for her expertise in educational leadership. Konsctancija has a proven track record of driving growth and transformation through her visionary approach and leadership skills. Her 40-year career is marked by her work as an Executive Staff officer with the Alberta Teachers' Association, as an investigator, published author, presenter, a mediator, facilitator and executive coach. Her doctoral focus was on relationships of trust in school settings and how these are related to important outcomes such as teacher behavior and student outcomes. Her presentations help school and district leaders to develop effective and intentional leadership practices, where leaders feel comfortable with taking risks to bring out the best in the teachers in their schools and districts, showcasing her ability to lead cross-functional teams and implement solutions that have a lasting impact. Her ability to blend strategic thinking with practical execution makes her a sought-after expert and collaborator in her field.
