Welcome to uLead 2025.  We are thrilled you will be joining us at the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel for our annual school leadership conference hosted by the Council for School Leadership of The Alberta Teachers’ Association.

If you have any questions during the event, we will have uLead team members throughout the venue wearing red and black plaid. The registration desk will also have our team available throughout the conference. This table can be found just outside of the Van Horne Ballroom where all of our keynote presentations are taking place.

Navigating Curriculum Change

As educational leaders, we understand the challenges that come with growing classroom complexity and the recent rollout of new curricula. These changes are further complicated by the lack of aligned, accessible resources, putting additional strain on educators and leaders alike.
Many divisions do not have the resources to create curriculum-aligned resources, teachers are left navigating a patchwork of unaligned materials often built on outdated textbooks. This fragmented approach adds unnecessary pressure on the system, hindering both classroom efficiency and teacher well-being.
In this interactive session, we will share insights from our experiences over the past two years and offer practical, innovative strategies for effectively navigating curriculum change. Our goal is simple: to empower teachers by freeing up their time, allowing them to focus more on teaching, improving teacher efficacy, and ultimately driving better student outcomes.
