"
No organisation can function beyond the capacity of its leadership team" This session explores how leadership unleashes potential and outlines the
practical and manageable actions school leaders can take to grow confidence and capacity in both new and existing leaders.
"Culture eats strategy for breakfast"We will explore four different critical aspects to effective leadership that unleashes the potential within our schools;
- The internal work leaders need to do to help show up each day to be intentional, responsive, empathetic, curious and forward-looking.
- Ways to work with leaders across all layers of the school in a cascading methodology to ensure direct reports feel the impact of effective leadership with the person they connect with on most days.
- Ways to work with teachers and support staff that keep leaders involved without stepping on the toes of their direct reports
- Our influence and actions that impact global school culture to reach every child through the hands of others.
An added bonus will include practical ways we can use/embrace AI as our own Personal Assistant to give us significantly more time in the front-facing aspects of our role.
Drawing on over two decades of experience, I share practical strategies to create the conditions that build leadership capability and shift the dial within schools.
A key component includes
culturally responsive approaches to meaningfully connect with Indigenous communities, ensuring leadership practices honour and integrate Indigenous perspectives.
Mixed with a good dose of humour during this last day with everyone tired (and maybe a bit hungover!), this session aims to equip leaders with tools to build cascading layers of collaboration, confidence, and continuous improvement, inspiring inclusive and culturally grounded leadership.
